Like many others I use Instagram much more these days. Anyhow, what I was wanting to say is that I follow your IG account and have wondered how you are doing. Reading this post this morning has made me realise that just because I don't know you personally should not be a reason for not asking.
I have a little time on my hands at the moment having just had some surgery with thankfully a positive outcome regarding a cancer scare. I'm also visiting a friend this week who has had a diagnosis that is not so positive. Reading this post is timely.
Take care and I hope you're having a good week.
BethBethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00071999450731273883noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1141972872292928899.post-38802422025294113472016-03-05T18:13:47.151+11:002016-03-05T18:13:47.151+11:00A truly fantastic post Jane - pragmatic, honest &a...A truly fantastic post Jane - pragmatic, honest & practical. I am struggling to support a friend from afar who lost her ony child 4 months ago through an aggressive & devastating cancer. I can't bring food or champagne or do the practical things because she's so far away, so it's the phone contact & the words (said & unsaid) that are at the centre of our relationship at the moment. I'm not doing very well, but reading your words today has made me resolve to bring a deeper authenticity & honesty to our conversations, thank you.
M xx Milliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00258962482133112163noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1141972872292928899.post-32832325455814634072016-03-05T00:53:20.193+11:002016-03-05T00:53:20.193+11:00It's lovely to hear from you, Jane. "Jane is indomitable," I said to myself, but then I said to myself, "no, that's too much of a weight of expectation to put on anyone against a random onslaught of a horrible disease, you mustn't think that." But I can admire your spiritedness. Many hopes to you, in lieu of a casserole. I know a casserole would be better.Misehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01784548726623938608noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1141972872292928899.post-25395629718327870722016-03-04T02:36:26.638+11:002016-03-04T02:36:26.638+11:00Oh Jane .... what a perfect, perfect post and one ...Oh Jane .... what a perfect, perfect post and one that will be so helpful to so many. I cannot imagine what a difficult road it must be although I do have some experience, coping with different illnesses in our family. It really does change your life forever but that doesn't have to be a negative, does it ?I would be round in a heartbeat if I lived nearby { living in the same country would help !! } .... mind you, you'd probably get fed up with the sight of me !!
It sounds as if you are doing as well as you can under the circumstances and I am sure that everyone is so proud of you. Carry on doing what you are doing and blog some more so that us blogging mates can help you along the road just a little.
Sending much love and positive vibes from the UK.
